Summertime is here! And what better way to celebrate than with a night of hardly-lucid singing with your friends?
That's right, Karaoke Night is coming back again, hosted by A Nudist Colony and the Royal Princess Canii!
Here's how it works: At 8:00 PM CT / 9:00 PM ET on Saturday the 28th, hop in our Teamspeak Server,
sit back and listen. If you would like to join in on the singing, simply PM Nudist or Canii over Teamspeak/Steam
and you will be added to the queue. When it's your turn, GO for it boys and girls!
That being said, there are a couple of rules:
1. Do not, under ANY circumstances cue your microphone when someone is singing. All mics should be set
to "Push to Talk," and anyone not following this simple rule will be globally muted. Gaming attracts a lot of shy nerds
(myself included), and when someone disrespects you enough to interrupt you while you're singing, it does wonders
to shatter your already nerve-reduced confidence.
2. There will be a password, and it's for us only. Everyone in eGO and beyond is invited, of course, but to avoid
mic spammers like we have had previously, please restrict your invites to people either in Edge-Gamers, or
those that you know personally that will be comfortable following our rules.
3. Edge-Gamers Teamspeak Rules still apply here (kind of). Most language that flies in normal
Teamspeak rooms is fine, and we are more "lax" about enforcing language rules, considering the content of
most modern music... But if something strikes you as possibly offensive or overly explicit, please do not sing it.
We're all smart fellas here, so let's use our heads for more than just singing.
4. Have fun! This is one of the Team Fortress 2 Division's most hallowed traditions, so be sure to enjoy yourself!
So head on down, Saturday the 28th at 8:00 PM CT / 9:00 PM ET, to the Team Fortress 2 Teamspeak Rooms for a
night of singing, dancing, and unabashed buffoonery! We'll see you there!
