Hi,

Before I start, I'm speaking about the Metro Mixed modes server (CQ/CTF)

I know the rules are posted above, but is there a rule concerning player count on fighting towards B? I've seen multiple Ego members exclaim only B until 10v10 when I've played, yet I see Ego members going to A and setting up beacons, capturing A (not always), etc.

Also, I've noticed beacons are an extreme annoyance. If you're playing as Russian and American beacons are setup on A, the odds are extremely slim in pushing back and capturing A, since there are so many nooks and crannies to hide beacons, so it's pretty much game over regardless of ticket count. Sometimes they even set them up on the edge near the RU spawn. Is there any chance to add/vote on a rule against this?

The main reason I wrote this is to vent my frustrations towards some of your members, if they really are breaking the rules. It wasn't even 10v10 and A was swarmed and captured.

Technically speaking, the same official rules apply at the beginning of the round towards the end of the round, regardless of player count. The various "side rules" that we create are designed to fill the server and/or generally kill time before there are enough players in the server to make it interesting. Some of these will include fighting over B, not going past it, and sometimes pistols/sniper rifles/knives/tools only. Sometimes, these rules may involve no killing whatsoever and just generally goofing off. However, these are rules that cannot be enforced, as they are mentioned off the cuff and not official rules of the server.

I would like to pretend that if an eGO member comes up with a rule to not proceed with going to either A or C (depending on team) then all members should follow this, eGO or not. It's very possible that these people might have not been communicated the side rules, had chat hidden, or other reason why they did what they did. It's seldom the case though, and there is very little that we can do to someone who is breaking non-official rules, except be told that we are "doing _____ until we get more players". And, depending on the rules, once the server is of reasonable size to "start" a match, there will be a disadvantage to the team. Keep in mind, that all official rules of the server are enforced, regardless of number of players.

We do our best to fill our servers, and if you ever feel that the first match joining up is lopsided, feel free to stick around for the next one, where it is pretty much guaranteed that a good 65-80% of the players will stick around for a second match.

Hope this helps out. Let us know if you have additional questions.

Hello Troy,

Tuna said it pretty good. When we start up the rounds we try not to all cap the server and allow time to fill. Members are asked in teamspeak to play certain weapons or we sometimes ask others to play certain weapons till we get the server going above half full. Sometimes we do not get to that limit before pubs and other members joining late start using all weapons or start attacking the other points to which we discontinue the limited stuff and it goes all weapons and the standard rules as tuna said. As for auto balance players come and go. The multibalancer works throughout the match to equal the teams. It balances and unstacks the teams so at some points it may have unequal teams while the bot is moving players. As long as in that operation players dont switch or leave or join to where it recalculates and adjust the teams.
