New Hardware Looking for advice

So I'm planning a full upgrade soon. Want to get a few opinions and see if people think it would be worth it or not.

Currently I have a Intel Pentium G860, hooked up to a ASRock Z75 Pro3 motherboard. 8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3, and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960.

I plan to keep the video card but swap out most everything else.

Thinking of replacing with the following-

GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-UD5 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151.
Intel Core i5-6600 6M Skylake Quad-Core.
G.SKILL NT Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM.

Thoughts? Will the difference be notable?

I buy almost solely based on bench marks. CPUZ has benchmarks for most hardware from CPUs to SSD's. Find the highest performance that still fits your budget and go with it.

It depends on the budget you have.

Your Mobo that you are looking for is great, I would prefer ASUS, and Intel would be my way of CPU and G.Skill for RAM. I have been using those brands for years and I would/will always go for those brands.

My next build is going to be an overhaul of my current PC:

Current Build:
CPU: i7 4770K @3.5GHz
Mobo: ASUS B85-PLUS LGA 1150
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)
Video Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 970 w/ 4GB RAM

My CPU, Mobo. and RAM are about 2-3 years old. My Video card I upgraded a year ago. I know its going to last longer but I would like an upgrade within the year.

New Build I Want:
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.0GHz ( or overclocked but probably not necessary )
Mobo: ASUS Z170-E LGA 1151 Intel Z170
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) x2 ( 64GB RAM )
Video Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 ( I have the 970 but I would like the 1080 at some point)

I will most likely be going to get the whole build on Origin PC because I would rather not build it myself and there are a lot of options on that site. If I was going to buy just a few parts which I mentioned I would just go through Newegg.
