So, imagine you have 1000$ to build a new computer. Don't need to worry about a monitor, keyboard, or headset. What would you get? Why? What could it potentially run at solid 60 FPS for games on max?(Provide links if possible of the things you'd get)

Just to help narrow it down better - what games were you planning to run?

I think with the parts that I have you might be able to get the FPS that you want. I do not remember what kind of FPS I got with the old video card and whatnot but I think you might be able to get the FPS that you want.

I bought these parts between the dates of 2-15-14 to 2-20-14. They still work great, minus the video card which I bought a year ago. The thing is that I paid over $1,000 but that was cause I was impatient and did one day shipping on all the parts. lol

I will update this with the prices or you can go ahead and look at the items and see if you want to get them or not. I bought a SSD for my OS which I boot my computer up in a matter of seconds and the HDD for all my other stuff. I have a 5TB external for all my movies and other files. The CPU Cooler which is liquid cooling is a lower end one but has been working great. RAM I have 16GB which is working amazing for me, I can get another 16 GB but I dont really need it. Mobo is ASUS and I always go with that brand, same for RAM is G.Skill. Power Supply you will only need 750 watt for the card that I currently have. IF you plan on upgrading in 6 months to a year to a better video card then you might need a higher one. The one that I have now is great and I have had no issues.

If you have any questions just ask.
