Well i get into TF2 and having a nice old time but after about 10 minutes my game turns into a black screen and than 10 seconds later i see HL2.exe has encountered an error and needs to close. Whats up wit that. THis is drastically effecting my gaming experience and is stopping me from going into scrims so yeah i would love some help here.

check for updates...i know this sounds strange but for crysis there was an update that i had downloaded and it screwed up my game and i got the same thing.....and do you have to video cards/sound cards/w/e that is integrated and a regular chip? if you do then you need to make sure there is no conflict with the two
