Battlefield Division NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti - Price cut?

With the 1080/1070 coming, pretty much every last-gen card should see a big price drop - a good time to pick these up :)
 
Yeah, it was one of the top stories on in Google News as well (under Technology). If you're considering buying the 980, or even putting in two of them into your rig, they are going to be dropping in price like a rock once the 1080 is out. Personally, I say you should just get the 1080, but having two 980's in your computer will be crazy, more power than my Titan!
 
I heard that SLI 980's stutter a lot, but I could be wrong. Either way, it's good that Nvidia is price dropping their cards. Usually, we'd see a 15-20% increase in performance and the last gen cards would only drop in price slightly.
If Nvidia keeps outdoing themselves, hopefully PC gaming, or hardware in general will become even more affordable. (In terms of mid-high end hardware. There are crappy cards for over $100 on the market right now.) Either way, I'm probably going to run two RX-480's in my new rig. Nvidia is still a little pricey for me.
 
I recently had a SLI 980ti x2 .. never had a issue, and yes having 2 is way better than a titan, BUT, Save/buy the 1070/80 period... its way worth it, just bought 2, one for a friend, one for myself, for a little under $410.00 per 1.
Got rid of both my 980TI's Trust me when i say, invest in the 70/80s, all you need is one and you're golden for a while.

I can't even find one to buy, how did you manage to score two? How did you get it for that price, I've only seen them for $449.00(1070 founder edition)
 
Makes me wonder what graphics cards will be available in a couple years, the high end cards are already dropping in price.
