Battlefield 1 so whats the deal?

I hear something different everywhere, but do we know if France and/or Russia are included or will be a pay for DLC?

Also who else is excited about the fact that this game is going way back to WW1. I mean i love battlefield 4, but still i think it needed a change.

I commend them for going where no AAA title has before all the way back to WW1, but honestly I feel they could have got the same effect by going to WW2 which has a lot more vehicle and weapon options. But who knows maybe they are setting up for a sequel?...

I'm sure there'll probably be a couple of DLC packs that'll introduce different theatres/stages of the war that'll probably include new maps, Armies (In terms of different nations' Armies) and etc.
I thought it was kind of funny that they included equipment from many different Armies (Such as the renault) and etc but depicted the Entente to be the British Army in the game.
Either way, I'd certainly love to see the Japanese (Whom played a pivotal role in the pacific and indian oceans during WWI) make it into a DLC. Maybe the Greeks, and so on.
I'm glad to see that DICE didn't make the game a literal clusterf*** like Verdun did, where you've got multiple different armies fighting against eachother; And with no HUD indication of who is friendly, you see quite a few similar uniforms on friend and foe alike, so you would either end up dying or teamkilling.

Yes, other nations that participated in the war will be added via DLC, much to everyone's grievance

I kinda like that it is a WWI game, i love WWII games but this is something different, plus after this they could go to WWII. or even an add on like Bad Company 2 did with Vietnam.
