W00t! We've got an actual thunderstorm for the first time in probably a year or two here! About 1 minute ago had a thunderclap that was loud enough it quite literally shook the walls and even caused my monitor to flicker slightly. I love large thunderstorms, but the freaking Pacific Northwest really sucks for sustaining them. It's typically like one or two lightning bolts and *bam* it's gone.

So what's your largest/favorite storm you've experienced? Mine is easily the one I was in one night while in Japan. Thunderclaps were so massive it was insane.

largest was the tornado that hit my town. At least that's the most news worthy.

Largest I was in was probably Hurricane Wilma back in 2005. Lost power for about a week, fortunately a cold front rolled through afterwards so it wasn't hellishly humid.

Define storm LOL! I have been through two tornadoes in Nebraska, Hurricanes Irene and Sandy in Maryland, Dust and fog storms in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, Earthquake in Maryland, Thunderstorms frequently in Maryland, Flooding in Pennsylvania. I think the only things i havent experienced is a volcano and and ELE asteroid event. I love weather! i like predicting it for emergency management functions that i do and i love photographic it when i can as well

Anything at all. I personally haven't ever experienced a tornado (despite no lack of mother nature trying her darndest to correct that, including a funnel cloud near Marysville the other day), so thunderstorms are about as bad as it gets for me.

Unless we're counting anything natural disaster-like, in which case I've been in around 2-3 earthquakes too. XD

I've been through multiple hurricanes, tropical storms, depressions, and major flooding. Worst storm was probably either Hurricane Charley or Hurricane Ike. Still fun, in a non-fun sort of way.
