RULES AND GAMEPLAY:
This event sees teams of two players team up in a squad and race around on dirt-bikes/quad-bikes.
The driver plays as a support and the passenger is an engineer using an RPG.
The support player will place ammo boxes onto the bike/quad, allowing the passenger to stock up on rockets.
The aim of this game-mode is to rack up the most points in your SQUAD, to achieve this, you need to destroy other squads on their vehicle. Both player points will be accumulated to create the final score of the round.
The event will be set to last for 30 MINUTES, as soon as you are in the game, get started.
No primary or secondary firearms
No grenades
No leaving your vehicle unless you have flipped or been destroyed.
Players can alternate roles but must redeploy to change classes. No picking up kits from fallen players.
Weekly events will consist of 2 events per week on days and times that best suit the majority of those within the division. These events can either be a rotation of game modes available or up for a vote to our members. Currently there are 3 events described in detail (link is below) and there will soon be more available for all to enjoy.
Monthly Competitions - 8 Players minimum per event
The idea behind this is that after every event, the top 5 players will be given points which are then applied to a monthly league table. These points can be discussed with myself and leadership to allow a fair allocation of points and to avoid players steeping ahead in points.
At the end of the month, the top player of the league can receive a 10 Days of Dedicated Supporter Code or if they are already a DS, a gift code for steam/origin (TO BE CONFIRMED) of similar value.
The top 5 players chosen will not always be based on the score they accumulate from the event. The top 5 players can be selected from the appropriate area per-event. Of course the type of event will factor into what area the top 5 come from:
top score
most kills
most revives
fastest lap time (applied to race events)
fastest drag time (applied to race events)
Of course more can be added to that list but this is just the beginning of something that could become a regular thing for our division.
Points will be rewarded as follows:
First Place: 25 Points Second Place: 23 Points Third Place: 20 Points Fourth Place: 18 Points Fifth Place: 15 Points
These points will then be accumulated at the end of the month and the player with the highest score will win the Monthly Competition.
Weekly League Playoffs - 10 players minimum per event
Similar to the Monthly Competition, the Weekly League Playoffs will see the top player from each event put into a pool of 8 players. After all events have been played over the month - 8 in total - all 8 players will then face each other in a final event of the month where the overall winner will receive an award for either DS or gift card.
If for example a number one player has already won another event then 2nd place winner of that event will take the place. For example:
Event 1 winner: Player 1
Event 2 winner: Player 1 Because player 1 has already won the event, the 2nd place runner-up will be put forward to the playoffs. Event 2 runner-up:Player 2
If for example Player 2 were to win event 3, then 3rd place would be put into the playoffs and vise versa until all 8 players have been named in the playoffs.
If a player who has qualified for the event playoffs wins the Monthly Competition, they will be pulled out of the playoffs to allow another player to take their spot. This player will be chosen by adding all their points from across the events. The player with the highest amount of accumulated points will be entered into the playoffs final.
NOTE: If the minimum player requirement is not met during the event, the event will not be counted towards the final player count in the playoffs. Six out of the 8 events MUST meet the minimum player requirements or the playoffs will not take place for that current month.
Casual Events
These events will be held for members who have requested a specific event for a day, these will be considered as unofficial events towards the Monthly Competition and Weekly League Playoffs.
Refereeing the Events
We all know events are there for us to have fun and take a break from being admins, but of course for competition based events there will have to be some form of fair play, I for one will spectate the events either in-game or in spectator mode but I ask if it would be possible to have players participating to also keep an eye out for those breaking the set rules.
Players caught breaking the rules can receive -5 points of their final score per offence if they place in the top 5.
Battlereports will also be collected, saved and screenshotted for proof of those in attendance and the correct placement of points for those in the top 5 of that particular event.
