Hey everyone, I came across Battlefield 1 Pre-Order for $45 on G2A. Very odd, considering on Origin the game is running $79.99 Pre-order. I can't tell if there are any differences here, but it's a pretty substantial savings.

Since G2A is an EGO affiliate, I figured this must be legit....

Remember to use the EDGE coupon code for 3% off.... which also supports EGO

Happy 4th of July!

I do not support G2A. They obtain their keys in a very shady way, and they sell them for 100% profit without giving back to the developers.

I'd rather spend the $90 or whatever it is and have the money go right back to the developer.

I am 100% with majeye here. As much as I love to get a discount on games, I still want to support the developers and G2A doesn't do that for me. I'd much rather spend full price on the pre-order.

I won't buy from G2A anymore, as much as it sucks that G2A has dirt cheap games.
G2A basically runs off of stolen credit cards, used to buy bulk keys from legitimate resellers affiliated with that Developer. Eventually, that reseller WILL get chargebacks and this is obviously bad for business, and this is why companies like Ubisoft or EA will invalidate some of those keys - and this is also a reason that some games that are early access and are trying to start up - fail. Some Youtubers like JackFrags have ended their contracts with G2A for this reason. Am I saying that all the games on G2A are bought with stolen Credit Cards? No, because I could buy a Graphics Card that comes with a free code for Total War: Warhammer, but already have that game. Why not benefit someone else by selling it cheap, so that they can enjoy it, and I have a little more money to spend? Just some food for thought though.

Make no difference to me. As far as I'm concerned they still owe me a game since I bought Battlefront at full price.

Wow BrotherJayce, didn't realize how corrupt G2A's business model is. This is quite an incredible scam they are running. I'm sorry I even posted the original thread.

It took a video from a game player to tell you that?

As an indie game developer myself, I've been saying G2A is corrupt since I joined eGO last halloween.
