Some pretty shady stuff here that everyone here should think about before going to the next betting site or who you are supporting by watching on youtube and/or twitch. These people are in it for the money and will do whatever they can get away with to gain even more profit. They manipulate underage audiences in an unregulated market for their own gain. These kinds of things are disgusting and I'll personally be avoiding anyone associated with the website and content creators involved.

This is easily one of the the shadiest things to ever happen in all of CS history, and there is even more that h3h3 doesn't cover. A streamer which many of you here may watch , JoshOG, is also associated with CSGOLotto. he owns equity within the company and it can only be assumed that he has been involved in this scandal as well. Something this big cannot be ignored by the community and hopefully VALVE will step up and do something about it, or else this game will most likely just turn into a farming ground for the scum of the world.
 
I watched this as well. I say just arrest them all mu ha ha....

Unless they let me win skins 100% of the time.. ;)

Damn, JoshOG was on the list for the owners of CSGOLotto as well.

Wonder if anything will actually come out of this now that a big name youtuber has shown this.

I knew when the stuff with Moe was outed that it was going to be the start of more to come.
 
Most likely these Streamers will be banned from Valve Services as Valve wants to protect it's image,

NRS 465.083, which states, "t is unlawful for any person, whether the person is an owner or employee of or a player in an establishment, to cheat at any gambling game." NRS 465.07The fifth type of gambling fraud is placing a bet after the player knows the outcome of the game. This includes "past-posting" and "pressing bets."

I have been a big fan of Syndicate for a good 3-4 years now, even buying from his merchandise store on several occasions. If these allegations are true, i will be extremely disappointed. It just goes to show how these famous figures are able to sugar coat things and seem like such a good people in the content they produce. But if ever money is involved, greed will always play a role.

Problem with that is that CSGO Gambling is not technically gambling. Because of this fact Valve will win this lawsuit because they aren't the ones misusing the system. It's the owners of the gambling site that is using Steam API to do things that are not wanted. Even then the Steam API is used just to get the username/steamid and that's basically it. The only way they get information about your inventory is if you put your trade link in, which in doing so means that you are 100% agreeing to the terms put forth by the company. It's 100% on the companies like CSGOLotto and CSGOWild, and has nothing to do with Valve.

What I think will happen: Nothing, they will make the argument of it being virtual items and that will be that. The only thing they CAN get in trouble for is (as RDK said) Misrepresentation
