For some odd reason lately, whenever im in intense battle in TF2, my fps seems to go down to less than 10 fps, makes it really impossible 2 move. Any help on overclocking will be greatly appreciated. Btw, my video card is an nVidia GeForce 7600 GT 256mb memory. Anything else you wish to know, hit me up.

well i dont see why your hitting such a low fps? this was all of a sudden?? have you updated the drivers for it?? wat resolution are you playing at?? My other pc has the 76--gt and it runs tf2 great on medium settings at 1650 x 1080.
is it an agp card or pci-e? i know that if it is an agp card you can turn up your video aperture size to make more RAM available for video....it worked for me and helped me out about 5 fps...yeah i no not that much of a difference but i was able to turn everything up to max

I've got a pair of 8800GTS in SLI and my framerate drops in intense combat. It's capping out a single SPU core and not touching the other. My processor is bottlenecking because the game isn't optimized for multiple cores and each core is slower than most single core systems. The 'solution' shopped around in forums causes jittery eye straining graphics and a 1-2/hr BSOD.

I was having a similar issue with my E8400 / 8800GTS G92 setup, but it turned out to be a heat issue where I would start dropping FPS like mad after a couple hours of play. I added a couple more fans over my video card and that solved the issue.
ok well to answer both of your questions, no i dont have a dual-core cpu (yet). when it comes to the fans bit, i purchased a pci-slot fan so that it would suck all the heat out of the case instead of the heat slowly seeping out of the case regularly. i bout the fan so that it would take the heat from the fan of my 7600 card so that it would stay at peak performance.
