Paramount Television and Anonymous Content have optioned the rights to a TV series based on Battlefield? from DICE, an Electronic Arts Inc. studio. Michael Sugar, 2016 Academy Award winner, and Ashley Zalta from Anonymous Content will serve as executive producers.

The Battlefield series has consistently been praised by critics for its world-class multiplayer gameplay, and is recognized for delivering the premier all-out war experience across land, sea and air. The award-winning series has amassed more than 60 million players worldwide since debuting in 2002, and the franchise continues to boast highly-engaged audiences across its catalogue titles.

Lol okay... Battlefield has never really had a good story line except maybe Bad Company, but the game is mostly about the MP. Whatever....
 
Don't see the point, unless it is based on Bad Company...and bring in the people who created that story line.
Or they pick up the Battlefield Friends brand and continue where this left off. Now that was funny...dip dip potato chip.

I remember back in the day I loved Dragon's Lair (arcade game).
And then the brand made a Saturday morning cartoon of Dragon's Lair.
The game was great, the show was crap.
Stick to what you are good at...if you are a great burger maker, don't try to sell cars.
 
Back in 2012 DICE and EA did attempt to adapt Bad Company into a TV series. It'll be cool to see how far this gets.I think it'd be cool if they'd tackle it like Strike Back as well.
