Over the past few months of playing with and ultimately; Learning with the community about the intricate dynamics that make up the community. I realized there was one big problem. That was the lack of understanding behind peoples actions and compassion. I noticed a lot of the time that the younger players pushed off comments about the out of line comments they might of made. I don't think this is right.
I enjoyed many hours of playing the cs-go Ego TTT server, But the fact of the matter is when playing is when I would see the common denominators within all the conflict. Those were the younger Ego members that had a superiority complex to them in some manor to there actual ego.

So here I am, Going to make the humble request that there is an age limit for Ego members. I agree with the concept of mature gaming; But Mature gaming has to start with the gamer, and sadly when the gamer isn't developed enough in the sense of social interaction; There isn't much good that can come out of that.

Today, I had enough. It was so far as a Ego member saying very disrespectful things in the regards to the holocaust and the Jewish faith in whole. I called him out on that and then I got banned. I believe there needs to be someone that has a balanced political and Ethic Moral and ultimately ethic that is in positions of power, even then I think its very unprofessional, and immature to bring up political and cultural conversations in a gaming server as well. So with that being said I request a DE-rank of the Edge Gaming member "Grandpa Nova "

Well, there is an age requirement of 13 years old to join our community. If you are that age (which sadly there are people who lie about their age and are not caught) you are able to join.

Even with this, that doesn't stop people who are not in our community who are younger than others that will be a bit less experienced in doing what you are wanting them to do. This is just something you have to live with because at the end of the day, everyone is just trying to play a video game that they love and have fun the way they want to.

I can understand where you frustration comes from though. I would be lying to you if I said that there aren't times that I play (or used to play) that some people/members would frustrate me with their less matured way of thinking. But with that said, that didn't make me not like them any less than anyone else (don't want anyone getting the wrong idea).

In other words, there is an age requirement and you just have to live with the fact that some people's "superiority complex" is going to be there, regardless of how old they are. If you would like, you are more than welcome to add me and ask me to play sometime. I don't know if I will meet your criteria for a "fun player" to play with, but I will try my best to do so.

Unless you have parents permission, you can join if you're under 13. I'm pretty sure most of our community is 13 or above though.

Of course!, but I don't think age has anything to do with it. Everyone in eGO is held to a high standard. In fact, most eGO members follow the rules better and are held to a higher standard than most players, because they KNOW the rules.

Hi Scira, I understand your frustration, and we do have some measures set up for this.

The first is our Drop Box. Posts in there are confidential and for the eyes of our leadership only. We do take a lot of pride in our members and try to make the best choices possible for our admin team, but occasionally things do happen among players and admins. I highly encourage you to make a post there, and provide all the information you can, in order to help improve our community.

In terms of your ban, I suggest appealing it in our Contest Ban section. There is a format there to follow.

In the end of things, we have a lot of measures in place currently in order to provide you a mature gaming community. When things go wrong, the best solution is to get in touch with our leadership team, for whatever game you may be playing. The Drop Box is your friend.

almost everyone who isn't 13 don't get parent's permission and lie about their age. also, being a member doesn't mean you know the rules and doesn't mean they follow them.
