Your Favorite DOD Moment

Hey there...was curious if anyone had a favorite DOD moment to share. I thought I would share a very memorable one for me. About 2 months ago I had a great experience that I so wished I had taken a screen shot. I didn't know how to take a screen shot but I do now. :blushing:

So I was on the allies (of course) and the axis had all the flags except for our 2nd (Avalanche Map) and were in the process of capturing it. I jumped out of the window with a "pulled" grenade and landed with 4 axis about to capture. I blew up myself and all 4 of them. The screen lit up with the flag defense-save, 4 kills, myself killed, 1 revenge, and 1 domination. It was like "fireworks!" After several minutes are team actually came back and won.

An honorable mention moment was actually getting a punch kill against Pennywise the Clown. He always dominates me so that made me really happy! LOL

So any experiences you want to share that don't involve killing me would be fun to read! Have a great day!
 
My fav. DOD moment now is just logging in and shooting em up. lol
Every day/night I get to play DOD I feel blessed :) My time has been used up a lot lately with; school, work, god-daughter, nieces, nephew, and trying to find the time to ride my bike and be in nature.
 
Every time I kill Q-Tip, since it seems to be a constant struggle and battle.
 
It was my very first Realism Campaign and the first night of the event. To win a country was a best of seven rounds and both teams were tied at three wins each. We were on defense the finale round. I was last man standing vs three, in a courtyard with two entrances on the left side and one on the right side. I was hidden from the right side and watching left. Two Axis came running thru the left alley. I fired two quick shots from my Garand and dropped them one right after the other. The third tried to flank me from the other left entrance. I changed to pistol, did a Chuck Norris ballet hop, and took out the final Axis member firing as fast as I could. We won the first map and I received the first Allied field promotion and made Lieutenant. My CO was the immortal Ron Paul.
As a side note, I scored a 10 on my Pli?.
 
Probably the moment I was trying to take a cool sniper screenshot for my signature a looong time ago. The moment I snapped the screenshot the sniper I was with got slammed in the head and the headshot picture was mine! This was before replay and gaming DVR so it was a true moment of impact shot.

My favorite DOD moment to share was a match on Anzio, we were down 5 caps in the second half with about half the time left in the second half of the match. I saw the opposing team moving strong on the bridge side, so I called for a shift to the church side. We starting sweeping all cap’s in making a strong come back. We all capped just as the clock ran out. I thought we lost. I exited the match and called up each half’s screen shots. We won the match by one point. Huge thrill.
 
First time playing Anzio and discovering my new favorite map and game. I'd think a close 2nd was Q-Tip getting a bit to excited about getting killed by the Thompson time after time lol.
 
I believe the time Q-Tip was let loose with the Rocket on a realism round- ended up killing himself and several teammates 'accidentally'.

Can never out-live that memory XD
 
dAnnYbOy, that is great perspective!!!!! You are certainly blessed and I feel the same way. My three little kiddos keep me super busy and DOD provides a quick break. Thanks for sharing.

Boyle, a "Chuck Norris ballet hop"!?!?!? Love it. 3 v 1 seems like reasonable odds to me. I tried the Donner server before and I believe you were playing. Your are a very good. Thanks for sharing.

Maserati, a lot of people mention Q-Tip, he must be a good player. I remember playing Anzio...my favorite maps are Avalanche, Flash and Argentine. Thanks for sharing.

He likes to think so, but he forgets a lot of stuff on account of him being in his early 70's, btw I hear he has a birthday coming up soon, next time you see him be sure to wish him a good one, he likes it when people remember.

My fav was Meg getting blown up by a nade while sitting on the toilet during a Realism campaign match! I think it occurred on Q-Tip's birthday.

I got a no scope triple kill down bench alley in Donner!

Jeez, after more than 7000 hours of playing this game, it would be hard to narrow it down to my favorite moment, but I have a few that I really enjoy when they happen...

1. Throw back nade kills. I absolutely LOVE plucking them out of the air and returning them to the sender for the boom... Love it...

2. I am ALWAYS fond of blocking the mid cap, on whatever map, with a suicide nade... That made me chuckle, your story of jumping out that apartment window for the 'fireworks'

3. My favorite weapon is the STG, and sometimes, every once in a while, I just cant miss with it. Go ham salad on the other team and rattle off 7 or 8 kills in a few seconds... That always makes me happy too
