SoW stands for Spirits of War which was a Guild Wars clan I ran for a while.

Yeah the names most definitely a WoT reference, had the name going in and around various games since like book 4 or so.

GW is still going, although I barely play it myself. We had a good group of people scatter about 6 months ago. GW2 should be out though within a year. We gather to play TF2 from time to time (although none of them wear the tag). I've made sure to pass along the good server lists you guys keep here!

Hehe, when I saw SoW, first thing that popped into my head was remembering back in the good ol' days of MMORPGs when I played EQ, and all I ever heard was "SoW please". If anyone ever played that game, you know what I am talking about

But I doubt very many people played that game...
