There are a lot still playing , just not like they used to. I think most people have probably hit their goals gear wise by now , a lot of guy's are not happy with the dz the way it is so it's been pretty quiet.

I play a few times a week mostly late evening or early morning MST (GMT -6). I'll be gone most of August though.

Massive's slow reaction to bugs & hacker issues cost a majority of the player base.

The game is due for a new update and as such I am sure it will pick up once again

I still play at times.. I am hoping the game gets some updates and revive the community. I fear the horse may have left the barn though with all the new titles coming out, People will get drawn elsewhere. I still hop in game and bang off a few hours of SP .

Releasing DLC without first fixing long overdue game breaking bugs and exploits killed it for me. Even if they are fixed now, I lost respect.

Was a great game and I got my $60 worth. RIP

There are still a couple game breaking bugs , this company sure likes to shoot itself in the foot.

I'll be back with 1.4. I grinded 4 perfect gear sets by the end of August, so I'm pretty much done until the 1.4 update.

Im going to try and get back into the game in 1.4...

but i dont think their patch is going to fix the repetitiveness of the game...that for me is its core issue that just bores me. the story is water thin and although it was a fantastic concept to build the game on.. they failed to flesh it out. The game seems like a boring rpg mmo thing that doesnt really know what it wants to be and with little reason for the player to become immersed or invested in the world or the character wrapped up in pretty graphics.

If 1.4 cant draw me back in..and i will give it an honest try.i will be uninstalling and be done with it. just mad i bought the gold edition or what ever it was called. I honestly would ask for a refund if i could still.

My impressions so far is that they figured out PVE. You can now play the game outside of the Dark Zone after hitting level 30 and have fun.

Agreed - although I think DZ is more fun now as well with the tiers system making it possible to not instantly die in DZ6
