Nah. There were a few times when I planned out personal or vacation time around the release so I could play a game. My vacations are "staycations." I never leave or go anywhere.

No, I was self-employed before I retired about 7 years ago. But while working, I just wouldn't go to work on some days due to my gaming addiction.

Wont lie.... a few times i got sick and tired of the typical corporate BS and politics i just said.. SCREW IT! called in sick and stayed home and played some game all day instead.

For 10 years I worked from home, and during the day I was just on-call (tech support for a small company), so I was able to play all the time with no threat of getting in trouble.

Hell, even if the boss herself called, I'd usually keep playing until I knew I had to use the computer for work stuff....she didn't care.

*sigh*
I loved that job. But they sold it earlier this year to retire, and the new owners laid me off to go with a "cheaper" solution of contracting IT services to a company.

The irony is that I now do exactly that kind of "managed IT services" myself, just not the same company that took my cushy at-home job.
