I absolutely loved the original Deus Ex (despite not being very good at it with my addled teenage brain) and Human Revolution, but there's been an awful lot of news coming out of Squenix that really makes me pause on the thought of buying DE:MD... Their recent decision to turn Hitman into an episodic game instead of a full fledged one earlier this year and the fact that it apparently (much like MGS5) will contain microtransactions just rubs me the wrong way...

I will wait for the reviews and whatnot, it will most likely be $60 on release, so I am going to wait for a steam sale, when the game comes on sale.

I have played the other games I and I think that it is a good series.

As far as I understand this game is not going that particular route. It should be a fully fleshed game upon release. In fact they pushed it back from a Feb(?) release to make sure it is polished.

Probably yeah, but like I said some of their actions have given gotten me to pump the brakes before going in completely (let alone that I kind of doubt my system could run it currently). And I also have an odd quirk about sequels to Deus Ex games. DE was awesome, DE2: Invisible War really really sucked IMO, DE:HR was also awesome... Will DE:MD follow the pattern, or was The Fall technically the sequel to HR?
