Keep it or Coaster?

Any of you guys ever heard of Rick and Bubba? well if not they are a radio talk show host and they play this game called Keep it or Coaster...anyway it is where you have something and you ask the audience whether or not to keep that thing or get rid of it....in this case it is the last letter of my name "§HÄ®þ" i have been getting alot of ppl tellin me that the last letter looks like either a b or a d...so i have been called sharp and shard!!!??? anyway let me know if i need to change it ;)
 
Nothing personal of course, but I've never been a fan of ascii characters for handles. I appreciate that people do it to either a) be an individual or b) let other people know about their 1337 character map skills, in your case It's the price you pay for your 1337 5K1775. =) <3

Seriously though, probably wouldn't hurt to change the last character since it can be ambiguous in-game. Of course, I've had 2 people in as many days call me "Dryfeet" ... I guess it's better than Wetfeet.
 
I've been called bobcat a ton of times so I feel your pain. Like Dryft said you should probably get a last letter that looks more like a "P".

Try "ρ" it's actually a lowercase Greek Rho, see how it looks ingame

Lots of people that use ASCII don't even know how to normally make them they just copy and past from people that do.

Actually, if it's the same name they've been lenient thus far. Booster didn't used to have those crossed o's in his name. I dabbled with ascii characters myself for a bit.
 
well i used to be sharpshooter...but since there is already a shapshooter (i hate you for takin my name sharp!) i shortened it. i might keep it the same...i can get used to gettin called shard and sharp...i will just keep correcting them
 
Don't worry. My name is in normal text but I've been called many different WAY off things such as:
BlackMesiah
BlackPanther
SouthernBlackMan(I have no idea hhow that came out of BlackMesaSouth)
