I feel like this new rule redefines the eGO community as a whole, it changed us from being apart from the other communities, allowing people from all ages to being cursed at by older people picking on them just because they died (which is all I hear from the older members of communities when that one 13 year old kills them). Honestly Ive seen parents sign their kids up for this community just because they were assured their kids wouldnt hear these words, and honestly for the amount of the younger kids that play in this community exceeds the older members, and they grow up listening to their piers say these words, after a while it sticks. Im not saying anything against the new rules, Im just saying it redefines what we as a community stand for. Thanks for reading!

Nobody can curse at anybody, even if the rules change, just as the Battlefield division operates. If I am interpreting it properly. Swearing is not the same as swearing at somebody. There are also some swear words that can only be used to disrespect someone, so they would always be off limits anyway. I am sure more information will be provided.

But let me ask you this, when you hear someone of megas stature or medviahs stature curse infront of the whole server, younger kids are going to get influenced by this kind of speak, and it will stick to them.

many cases of kids thinking it's ok to say "fk you" to an admin (idk if we can curse on forums prob can tho)

I would suggest talking with your leadership for your division if you are curious about the state of the rules, or have concerns with them. That would be your best course of action

Totally agree with this
I'm just hoping this is temporary or a test to see if it works out or not

Im just trying to get my point across, sorry I should've used drop box, but its like we're younger kids bigger parents, not encouraging cursing, like many parents try to enforce when we were younger. I think thats what has made us different as community, one that prevents bad behavior and language, and in my opinion, it should stay the same.

Even though players in Battlefield have been allowed to swear, the standing rule is that EGO members are held to a higher standard and are not permitted to swear in the forums or in-server. I do not see why that rule would not be the same.

Yeah its really dumb im not against swearing but our community it different than other communites. And i like being different

Honestly thought I don't like the cursing rule too much cuz it makes the servers more toxic and it will be abused. idk tho maybe it will iron itself out

guys just let the music take you to a faraway place. Let it take control and let yourself accept yourself as one.

There will be a refresher for admin training, and this new rule will be incorporated.
