Im sorry to hear that. I've lost pets before, and it's like losing a good friend.

RIP to your dog, and I feel bad for you.

I am so very, very sorry. I have no children, just my dog Charlie. I've thought about how bad it would be if he got hit. I am so sorry for your loss. Will Rogers had a quote: "if there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went".

You'll see him again. Read this: http://www.petloss.com/poems/maingrp/rainbowb.htm

Let me know if you'd like to talk.

thanks for all who replied... i just hope ill meet him again. I had him since he was a little baby dog... for 2 years i cared for him. then it ended... i still dont know who even hit him

You'll meet him again...one day. But how sad that someone hit him and ran. Whoever hit him, now that's a coward. But I wish you the best =(

Having had a dog die in my arms, I know how you feel, bud...we're here for ya.

Thats a real bummer dude. :(
and 6, that story, was very touching, it caught me deep, having a labrador myself,
my friends dog died a few months ago and even that hit me pretty hard, so i can imagine how you're feeling, but something i remember to get me past great losses of this nature, is that those who have gone, wouldnt want us to use our whole lives grieving over theirs, we need to get up and do our loved ones proud by making something of ourselves.

edit: wow, i never imagined my 100th post to be like this.

Minikriz i'm sorry about your dog, i recently lost my golden retriever to cancer of the throat about a month ago, i feel your pain. Always remember how good of a companion your pet was, and in my mind, all dogs make it to heaven. R.I.P. Gremlin and Sammy

I recently lost the dog I had since I was 5 and I know how you feel, for last 15 years I spent some of the crappiest moments of my life with her and you never truly understand how important they are until you can't hold em anymore. It just shows you to cherish the things in your life and live it up while you can, good things will come and go but it's important to hold on to those good times because they don't last forever!

I found it easier to get over the other dog we lost 2 years ago by getting another to take their place... Theres nothing more comforting than a puppy crawlin around in your lap :P

That link brought tear to my eye.
I have lost about 3 dogs.

1 - Sparky
2 - Japorms
3 - Whitey

Sparky got ill bad. (When I was a kid, I use to get the the hose and just give him a shower everyday, and now I regret it. :( )

Japorms is unknown.. We just saw him lying down near the canal. There was some worms on his belly.

Whitey, which is my dog's mom right now, died because of a..well... She died after she released his offsprings.(About 6-7 puppies).

:((

(Btw, this all happen in my hometown.. Not here..)
