My hyperx cloud 2s that I love just suddenly stopped working so I'm in the market for a headset or headphones with a mod mic. Anybody have any laying around for sale or have any good recommendations? My budget is tight as I'm about to do my first PC build in a couple weeks. Sucks that I might go into it using Apple earbuds

I have asked this in the past and several people said to go headset and others headphone/mic combo.

For me right now I have the Audio Techincas, I forgot the type and I have the Blue Yeti desktop mic. The price in total was about the same for a good headset with a good mic on it.
There are a limited amount of good headsets with a good mic, so yeah.

If I chose again I would do headphones and a desktop mic. A modmic is cheaper so I don't know.
I'd see what others thought of cause that is what I would do. Or I would get a wireless headset cause wires are sooo annoying.

I cant say any bad things about audio technica. If you go on head-fi theres a ton of people selling them to upgrade to better headphones. They sell em cheap.

Razer products have been amazing when it comes to what they have made and still are making. I'm planning on getting another one of their products soon enough. Maybe not their headsets but a better mouse and a slightly less annoying keyboard. Both of the ones that I have are good but the keyboard is the chroma mechanical one and its gets annoying when I type a lot.

Price being second, Logitech G933....
Price being first, my old Logitech G330 lasted me for years gaming and still serves me well for company meetings via Bluejeans ~30USD (Just be prepared to replace the pads every 4-5 years...they will fall apart. Not bad for the price, great mic!)

i used to be a headset guy. but decided a lil over a year ago to go with separate headphones and mic combo. i am currently rocking a red and black pair of theses.

I would have bought these if i would have saw them when i bought my black ones, the white and red looks sick. They sound amazing, excellent bass response when needed. They definitely make your ears go "Boom".

I am using a Blue Snowball Ice mic. i love the retro/modern look of them. Can get clear transmission of my voice at about 16" away from my face. so despite its size its not intrusive. Its almost the size of a softball.

I bought a set of the Astro A50's .

They are pricey but the build quality is very good imo , sound is fantastic and battery typically lasts a good 6-7 hours solid. i have the base set up with the TOSlink cable for sound.

I use a 2500Ma battery pack and usb cable if i go longer to power the headset and still keep it wireless. you could just run a long usb cord if your battery starts to die but i found my solution to work and the little battery pack fits into my shirt pocket.

Steelseries Siberia 800 wireless is the best way to go for 24/7 wireless charging and whatnot. There are two batteries that one can be charging and the other use. It is about 10-13 hours of battery life and if you want continuous gameplay then that is the way to go

Im thinking about getting wireless audio headphones because I do listen to a lot of music as well and took my hyperxs with me to work on the bus and stuff and just getting a mod mic that I can detach

For now my friend gave me a crappy pair of gamecom 770s (I think) but I'm looking for something else soon because I hate them
