Be careful with this some laptops do not have the proper hookups for a ssd. I would suggest looking up your model and its ssd compatibility

if you have dual drive space get a small 120gb SSD. Put your OS on it, then a larger drive (500gb or even 1TB) that spins at around 5400 or 7200 rpm if you want that kinda speed for games/data. May equal to the same
