Is there any way we can get team switch commands for admin? I try my best to keep the ticket count even and will try to switch to the losing team to help but our less then perfect auto balance usually won't let me. This would be especially helpful while filling servers so joining players wouldn't be entering an uphill battle.:cursing:

It used to be
/move [playername] [teamid] [optionl: squadid] <----- I think would move player when he dies.
moves a player into a team/squad

or /fmove [playername] [teamid] [optionl: squadid] <------I believe would kill the player and move immediately but doesn't count as a death
moves a player into a team/squad

But like itlfulloftuna said, I am not sure if those commands still work anymore because of the risk of abuse of the commands. I have tried to move a player from one team to another "to balance out the teams" thru procon and it wouldn't let me due to the autobalance system.

In all honesty, there are very few circumstances we would need to move anyone, so if any of these do work, please only use them in "have to" cases.

It's too bad. Being the heli whore that I am I usually sway the game one way or another especially with few players on. I would be nice even to move myself around without the AB moving me back.

If was avail. there would be only one major guy i would def. move. and is in lockers, nonstop teamswitching, I think most of you know who it is.. Lol.. Starts with a T ends with a O1 or 01. Other than that.. meh.. i have zero use for it.

ETA: On another note, what happened to the mute command? In the BF division admin guide it gave us a command to prevent a player from typing, but it doesn't work. That is a valuable tool in our other divisions, so you can do warn/silence/kick/ban if it is something not too serious, giving them a few minutes to calm down. Was it only a BC2 command or was it also removed?

I know we have the command available to us in the other divisions, but we are strictly ordered to never use it unless we are moving someone from a team, into spectator. But at least you can switch teams freely in source games as long as there are an even amount of players or you are moving to a team that needs players. It can certainly be frustrating in BF4, but you OP chopper guys just need to not be so good then the game wouldn't be unbalanced. Try playing one-handed or something :chair:.

Hello guys I think it was removed for fmove but we can discuss its return for admins. As for mute that is only in vc2

This feature has been particularly useful in Lockers, where in the past I have manually re-balanced by just switching the top three players during a all-cap situation. Typically that has re-balanced the game fairly well. DICE's auto-balance is pretty bad in some situations.

It would be nice to see it back.

I'm neither for it or against it. I think it would be useful in the case that Aetos is referring to, I do however think it can be easily abused and if we do decide to to implement it a clear and concise guideline needs to be followed. If we're going to use this in the case of a OP Locker all cap I encourage there to be a "nuke" manual feature as well as I do not feel the admin should choose who they would like to balance....

Lol Roger that.

Edit: On second thought, Beemer does make a very valid point. ⬇️⬇️

Your not going to like what I have to say here, but, admins DO NOT NEED THIS, it is bad enough when the game moves somebody WE get blamed for it, I for one am not about to spend my round moving tom, dick and harry because the balance system doesn't work. Now your wanting to add on abuse and the lack of using as issue's. As for training, I am to the point that some of our admin are going to need a SECOND class, as it didnt sink in the first time. Then we want to make more training on a subject that is touchy at best amungst ourselves

^^^^^^^^^^ All of this. Especially the part were we get blamed, which happens a lot. Even with DS/ Autobalance/+teamswitchers, Pings, teams still get stacked, not really a win / win either way. It's is what it is, My theory, i just play, idc win or lose.

If admins could move some higher scoring players it would help balance greatly. I see teams stack up by player choice, friends, whole clans on one side while the other side goes - 1000 tickets at the end.

I remember when we were using this feature, and I am sure that I am not the only one that recallls several members using the move feature to get clan mates on their side so they could play together. I agree with alex and beemer, this feature, "even tho in minimal circumstances would be handy," it's still a bad idea and would be abused as it was before plus as others have said, the way we have it now it's controlled by the game and not us so we can't be accused of using it for "our" advantage. Having this feature implemented would only cause more problems than it will solve.
