I had to post a bit of a demo the other day on a player, do I hold onto what I have until asked or do I upload it, it was plane as day the alarm message was going off, so I just was wondering.

You would have to post the demo with your ban request. You can use any file sharing site you want or just use the one that is linked when you fill out the ban request.

Also, look in the blue sticky threads at the top of our forums. I made one for submitting demos. You need no file sharing, just attach the .dem file to the listed email

Basically, in your ban request, when it asks 'Demos submitted: ', you reply 1. Then send the demo separately, use this:

It is right above these threads here, and takes you from the beginning all the way to the end. Hope that helps, not only you but anyone else who may need to take a peek, with the new rash of hackers that we have seen lately.

some reason I am having a hard time finding it my computer has been having some reboot on its own issues lately and I am not sure where a lot of things are I wonder if that file could also be whatever happened to the others. In the future when I demo something when there is obvious cheat should I demo it for the proof then ban immediately?

If it's really obvious (e.g a speed hack or violently spinning/shacking aimbots) then yes you can ban in-game for 2 weeks. Only ban if it is extremely obvious. If it's not take the demo and submit it without banning the person.
