Announcement My situation and future

Dear members of the eGO CS Division,

Today I have gone through my third suicide attempt. This was by far my most servers one yet. I do not want anyone making fun of me or blaming themselves. I have had many stressors in my life and eGO has been one my relievers. I grew up in a military family that moved frequently. I am a very shy person and have been working hard to overcome this in recent years. My thoughts are always mixed and I can tend to take multiple personalities from time to time. I want people to know this when interacting with me. To top things off my grandfather is also in the hospital and very much may die soon. I probably will not be on eGO or steam in general for some time as I find my place in life and work out my struggles. This is not everything I want to say as I cannot fully express my self in words. Saying this right now is just another way for me to overcome this moment in my life and I want to look forward to playing with you all again soon.

Edit: Thank you everyone for the support and especially thanks to Binary and Ric. I also want everyone to know that I am advised to talk about it to help me and my own way tends to be joking about it like it isn't serious or important. Don't take me seriously if/when I do joke about it and know that I still acknowledge the severity and importance of my actions.

I too believe that Edge-Gamers has provided me with lots of stress relief and urge you to continue doing what you enjoy! Nothing beats getting the days thoughts out of your head by sitting down and gaming with others from this Community! Taking your life is never the right answer. You have a purpose being here, and you may not see it now, but one day you will. You'll be glad you didn't do anything you might regret later. I sincerely hope you have a chance to speak to a professional who can help you overcome the challenges in your life right now.

I hope everything works out for you. like fish said, everyone in team speak is friendly and could definitely give you emotional support when needed or if you just want to talk to someone.

You really shouldn't concern yourself with death too much. Everyone dies. I personally like to think of death like..At least if I died, I wouldn't have to pay any bills, worry about health, etc.

The thing that matters is living your life to the fullest each day, and **** what anyone else thinks.

I make it sound a lot easier, but it's not.

Stop trying to kill yourself man. Life is what YOU make of it. **** depression, **** being sad. Live every moment like it's your last and don't forget to love. Experience life, it's worth it, even at the darkest times. The world is very vast, you can't experience it if you're dead.

I'm a pretty big asshole, but there's plenty of good people here who care about you. eGO is truly a family.

p.s. if I can express myself the way I want, so can you. Try it some time. If you get in trouble, so be it. You're much off being honest with your feelings.
