Hello! Minnie here.
I had been directed here by Michael Bolton to ask for permission to get the word out that I need help for a Marching Band fundraiser. I play in the Centennial Highschool Marching Band in Central California. This year we need a lot of help getting funds so we can travel and go to competitions all over the state. In prior years we did not have the correct amount of funds to do everything we could, such as go to Disneyland and compete in a major competition. I came here to reach out to the fellow divisions and maybe receive help. In this fundraiser the company supplying us is known as Cherrydale. The fundraising can be done via the internet and there are plenty of bake wares, deserts, pizza's, and many other items. Besides the fact that there is fundraising I have a goal to smash the record of 352 items sold, win a bit of prize money, and receive funds towards, a new laptop, and household repairs. I participated in marching band for all 4 years of high school and am in my 2nd year of college marching band. Sorry I can't personally support you due to my own financial constraints, but good luck!

I'm a freshmen percussionist in our high school marching band. I know the struggle of doing fundraisers, but once you do get enough they are really fun. We've traveled to Erie Otters Games, Played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and have played a few times in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington DC. I personally don't have any money to support, but I do wish you the best of luck, and I hope you have a wonderful time in marching band.

Hey Minnie, could you share some more details about this fundraiser?

It's the same for most high school across the nation, the band does fundraisers to go on trips, especially to Disneyland/World or DC. My siblings sold "Butterbraid" pastries, etc. I think we will have to PM her if we want to buy anything, as it requires the student's name, school information, etc in order to give them credit.
