Recently, Windows 10 has seemed to update automatically for me, whether I like it or not (insert liberal conspiracy theory here). As a result, whenever I try to play CSGO, but not other games, after about 2 minutes, it will crash my whole PC. I've tried over the course of an hour to get to the security options and used ctrl-alt-delete. Unfortunately, this happened to me about a week ago so I reinstalled windows on my pc, deleted my hard drive, and downloaded 200 GB worth of games. If anyone is having this problem or has a solution, please feel free to comment.

What caused the error? Was it driver failure? All your graphics drivers etc updated?

You can prevent Windows from updating automatically. If you are on a wireless connection, go into your wireless settings and turn on 'metered connection'. This will fool Windows into thinking you're on a limited-data connection like a cell phone hotspot and will automatically turn off automatic windows updates.

If you're on a wired connection, you'd have to perform a trick in the windows registry to enable a metered connection (win+r > regedit) which I wouldn't recommend messing around with without knowing what you're doing, but you can Google the steps to figure out how to easily.
