Yes! I've always gotta have the subtitles on. It is way more helpful that way to me.

I'm not hard of hearing or anything, but way too often there are bits you're supposed to hear in a game (dialog-wise) that are insanely poorly balanced in terms of their volume, or because they're mumbled somewhat. CC just helps to squash that little annoyance before it even gets going.

/not to mention the points when the dialog gets really jargony and god help you if you can't figure out what's going on...

always on whenever it is available. my english is bad so subtitles helps me a lot especially task/objective hints related subtitles.

Sometimes, like Red Dead Redemption, when I can't understand the characters with heavy accents. But that's it.

Depends, sometimes I do if it's a game with a foreign language or odd dialect (Assassin's Creed comes to mind)
