Pretty much just like most of us feared , no kick ,ban features at the start of the program but they are looking in to putting it in.......

So we pretty much just get a server with our name on it....and to top it off we have to pay more for pc servers , go figure.

Hello Battlefield Community,

We’d like to share a bit more information about the Rental Server program, coming this November.
As you know, Rental Servers for PS4 and Xbox One have gone through EA. Now with Rental Servers going through EA, there’s quite a lot of questions. Let’s answer some now:

How much will it cost?

PC
1 day: $2.99
7 days: $11.99
30 days: $42.99
90 days: $99.99
180 days: $149.99

PLAYSTATION? 4 / XBOX ONE
1 day: $1.99
7 days: $7.99
30 days: $26.99
90 days: $64.99
180 days: $99.99
When will the Rental Server Program Launch?
We’re excited to bring RSP to Battlefield 1 this November.

What types of features can I expect?
The biggest question, of course. We will update this thread tomorrow with some of the features you will have in the RSP.
Note: One of the top requested features if the Kick/Ban feature. We hear you and are working on rolling that out after the launch of the RSP.

Thank you for your continued patience and stay tuned for more information regarding the Battlefield 1 Rental Server Program.

UPDATE 1:

What types of features can I expect?
Among many other settings, players renting servers will be able to adjust:

ticket count
bullet damage
modes
weapons
maps

The reasoning behind having to pay more for servers for the PC as opposed to console is because of the services console owners have to pay to play games online/multiplayer; Xbox Live and PSN Plus. So, this cost can be justified, really.

I wouldn't really worry about the pricing matrix between PC and console, as this community has nothing to do with funding servers for consoles, I would be more upset at the fact that the only information that contains calories in that thread IS the prices. Everything else pretty much seems that they are going the route of console server rental. I'm sure that DICE will release details as time goes on, but this is a really bizarre method of getting people to sign on to rent a server. Communities are waiting for this information, and they are wanting to get their servers up first.

No one buys a new car without viewing the sticker that lists all the features contained.

Well those prices might change I don't see 64 player 60hz server going for $43 a month. Now for the 24 slot i do see the price.

So.... since all the servers use the same hardware lets just make sure to rent a server that's right next to my house. ;)
