Rest In Peace Layton "ProCombat" Means

Rest In Peace Layton ?ProCombat? Means
October 23, 2016

Thursday, October 20 EdgeGamers lost a dedicated and passionate Leader. Layton ?ProCombat? Means was involved in a motorcycle accident which claimed his life Thursday afternoon. ProCombat, who was a Division Leader of Garry?s Mod and part of the Tech Team poured his heart into the work that he did at EdgeGamers. Without his support and dedication Garry?s Mod would not be where it is today. Our community was also very lucky to have such a knowledgeable leader that we could rely on to help run our servers and core systems.

No one can doubt the amount of passion Layton had for our community. Shortly after earning PSC Member of the Year ProCombat was interviewed by SigmaTaurus. ?You put all your time in effort into what you love to do,? Layton said during the interview, ?I was focused on making eGO better.?

We invite all members to reflect and honor the memories they had with ProCombat. An official tribute thread has been posted in the Garry?s Mod discussion forum.

Rest In Peace Layton. You will be missed.

May you rest in pieces. I hope to see you aboard the Throne of Sorrow in Hell when it's my time to die.

In the mean time, I shall play this song loudly and proud for you. Tonight I will drink in your honor.

Such a tragic loss. I will miss playing WoWships with you and talking tech.

Very sad to hear, and a loss to eGO and his own local community.
Today, I will be praying for Layton, his family and friends.
And reflecting on how easy and fast things in this life can change for ourselves and loved ones around us.
I will be spending more time this weekend with my family and will ensure I make efforts to give more of myself to them.

Not good news at all...

You leave for a while, come back and find out some of your friends died.

I'm sorry we lost you man.

Never knew you but seem like a good guy. Rest In Peace
