Hey everyone,
eGO has lots of people playing Overwatch. We also have a competitive team that goes out to play tournaments and put our name out there whenever we can. Right now, the team is set. Perhaps when the current season of UGC finishes up we will look to bring some people in and hold tryouts.
If you are interested in being a part of the team in the future, you can help out a bit before that, by scrimming against our team during our practice times.
Scrimming, if you don't know, is a competitive style game for the sake of practice, nothing really rides on the results, it's meant to familiarize you with the map you are playing, the tactics needed, and how you play as a team together. It's probably the most preferred method of practicing by pros, and unfortunately we haven't had an opportunity to do it much. Playing QP or just regular comp is nice, but having the controlled game would be beneficial.
So, if enough people are willing to do this, we would pick maybe 1 or 2 days per week to get this going (We currently practice Sat, Sun, Mon at 9 CST).
You don't necessarily need to be interested in the comp team to help us out, it's better if we get different groups on different days, but if you are, this will hopefully help you get better at the game, and it gives us an idea of how you play and if you would be a good fit for the team in the future.
Please let us know if you are up to the challenge!
