Question about internet consumption

This isn't really a question that can be answered, to be honest. It all depends really on clients that are connected to the server. The server has to report back to you, in packets, the locations and movements of these players. Your FPS and the Tick rate is also applied in there. If I remember correctly, CS:S does a standard 33-40 Kbps for each client connected.

I can tell you from being an old customer of Hughes Net Satellite internet, that 10GB will be gone in the blink of an eye. Not sure if you are using Satellite internet, or using a hot spot from your phone, but usually if you are on Satellite they just slow your speeds down, so you can still use it to browse the web and whatnot.
If we are to be super conservative and say you are going to use 25kbps and only play your minimum given of 5 hours, that is going to be like 450MB per day. That is 13.5 gb per month or about 26GB/month if you bump it up to 30kbps and 8 hours a day. Then you have to factor in Facebook, browsing the web, any custom maps you have to download, steam client and CS:GO updates. Which are all small, but all add up. For example, my data monitor on my phone shows that Facebook uses 0.5 to 0.75 GB per month.
Then you have to factor in the usage of everyone else in the house, unless that 10GB is specifically allotted to you only. We quickly left the fast but limited satellite internet and went with the snail paced unlimited DSL from frontier. Those were our only two options out in the country. Frontier was only giving us about 750kbps speeds, even though the plan was like 3mbps. I was told in all honesty they would not recommend I upgrade the speed of the plan because I would not get faster speeds, we are in a high demand area with old copper lines and there is nothing they can do for us, but they were working to upgrade infrastructure in the area over time.
There are way to many factors, probably the best thing to do is use some sort of data monitor.

Thanks for the tips. Here in our country in Asia our average internet speed is only 3mpbs. You have to pay more to get higher speed. People at our house keeps on watching or streaming vids and its killing my ping when i play. Im planning to unsubscribe my internet connection since im the one paying it and getting a portable wifi which i can bring anywhere and can reach up to 42mpbs with an allotted 10GB per month. In this way i can finally game in peace.
