This is really cool. Perhaps this will liven up and improve the PC multiplayer community for the CoD players. Depending on price perhaps I'll contemplate the game, when the dedicated servers come up.

Any old members from the CoD Division still lurking? Come on out guys!

Well if they bring back Dedicated Servers for a good price that will be great for the CoD community, seeing as I was part of the CoD Division I would like to see it come back but sadly the player-base is not really there.

I'm always hopeful but won't believe it till I see it. They didn't even have a beta for IW which blops 3 did. At least 3arc gave us mod tools w/ blops 3 which they gave detailed info about from before the game came out till the mods were added about a month ago, and that surprised me. Hopefully IW comes through and does this as I would love to help out. Only question is will they be rentable? Technically Blops 2 and I believe all the other cods after it had dedicated servers (correct me if i'm wrong), but they couldn't be owned. Even the server browser on Blops 3 now does not include rentable servers.

Well I'll admit the campaign is pretty damn cool, but with the never ending salty community and the lack of players (dropped 40% first week, according to some sources online) it's a No-No for meh

Also, I would like to point out that CoD companies have done the whole "we'll give you dedicated servers this time" deal after World At War.....and how many times has it actually happened?!

The modern gaming industry no longer uses the term 'dedicated server' to mean the same thing we expect. Nowhere in that article did it claim that rented, private servers with admin tools will be offered.

'Dedicated servers' in today's parlance just means that they won't run other things on the IW game servers.

Unfortunately, I already have it on PS4. MW Remastered is cool as a novelty, but IW isn't even good. I wouldn't buy it on PC, and actually probably wouldn't even install it if it was free.

So looking at Dedicated Servers i see that COD Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare are dedicated servers but only from the company as far as i can find. Those servers also rely on P2P connections which mean if the company dedicated servers fail then player hosted in game servers rely on the users hosting connection for a server. Now we have also had discussion about COD 4 and COD Blackops 3 which have rent-able servers so we can look more into those but we would need player support for those servers if those players are interested

I have been reading the same this release. Even steam reviews seem like 80% bad posts.

Still waiting for cod4 remastered to be sold separate. Still......
