I picked one up. Two, actually, one for me and one for a friend who only got one is his small armpit town in NC that consists of a Wal-Mart for those that need to satisfy their electronic-purchasing needs. I like it. It's got a lot of iconic novelty to it. the games run smooth, great sound, visuals, video modes. The cord for the controller is incredibly short which is a drag, but easily remedied by grabbing a controller extension cable. The need for one is easily put aside, as one needs to get up and hit the reset button on the deck to switch to a different game.
For those that want one, do not pay scalpers prices, especially for those idiots that are putting these things up at $5k or more (there's seriously an auction for 88 thousand). Nintendo should release more as time goes on for the holiday season. For those that don't want one, you are really not missing much, as, yeah, they can be emulated, however, these games have been re-polished to run smoothly then their cartridge dumps.
