I can't take any list that recommends a G3258 seriously... (How outdated is this build?)

If you need a cheap CPU go with the i3 6100, if that is out of your price range shuffle some things around and get a i3 6100 :/ (really is the lowest end CPU you should get with a dedicated GPU)

But if you are on a real tight budget then get an APU and forgo the GPU. 7870k is a great little APU by AMD that is ok at low end gaming on the cheap. Just make sure to get the fastest ram you can get because it will make a world of a difference. But really this is for a really tight budget with just about zero upgrade possibility. (seriously this is like the $300 max build range here)

November 2016, hard to believe. That CPU option definitely bugs me a lot too.
