Hello everyone, so I am having some problems on csgo. When i try to open it it says CS:GO is running then it says CS:GO is syncing then it says nothing and nothing happens as if i never tried to open the game. Things i have tried: Uninstall CSGO, Verify game, Force quit steam delete steam and reinstall completely. I have searched the internet for a while and have found no fix. Pls help if you know of any solution
PC: Mac ;(

Its defintley happened to me before, but not this bad.

All I did last time was verify intreg cache and restart pc.
Ofc it doesn't help you so maybe try resetting your computer?
I wouldn't recommend if you do not have much time.
 
I believe that beaul wants actual help, not hate on the Mac.

One thing you may want to try is uninstalling the game, reinstalling and then launching, waiting for the error to appear, then going through your currently active apps. I can't remember how on Mac but I'm sure it can at least provide some help on whether the computer is just messing up and providing a false positive or if the game is actually running when it shouldn't be.

You could try this, however it seems like they never got it working either. Bottom of thread where he says something about starting another game or something like that.
 
I've had this happen to me on my PC. I don't know but is there some way to get to your process? If so you should be able to search up cs:go and end the process.

I would try to look at the error code but there is none. Its as if it tries to open csgo but it wont launch

Try just waiting after clicking start, like not doing anything at all for 5 minutes or something. Perhaps it's just steam being slow. I dont know what else to tel you besides good luck.
 
Try turning off your game sync feature, see if that helps.
 
Ok so i found a error code:
/Users//Library/Application\ Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Counter-Strike\ Global\ Offensive/csgo_osx64 ; exit;
Failed to load the launcher (dlopen(bin/osx64/launcher.dylib, 2): image not found)

Seems like a common issue on the Steam forums. I can't browse them from my PC, but if you do a google search of "CSGO failed to load the launcher" You'll find quite a few threads.

Check 'em out! Good luck!
 
My OS X is up to date still not working. I have noticed MANY other people with same problem
