it will not load my favorite servers... idk what to do! someone help meez

A friend of mine said there was a Steam update today, and now he can't browse Steam Community very well. I dunno if that's related or not. :/

If it's Steam related, and not OS related, try your ClientRegistry.blob file, and if that doesn't do it, delete your serverbrowser.vdf file found in Program Files\Steam\config.

Try right clicking on your steam logo in the taskbar, and select "servers", see if your favorites appear there. I have had it too after an update that it won't show the "in game" favorites, but on the server page it does. Be advised it will show all your favorites, meaning other game (CSS, DoD, etc) favorites you have loaded under steam. If it doesn't appear there either, then you obviously have a bigger problem. You might want to report this to steam as well. Good luck.

Hey, you never know...Steam's been known do weird things.

Yes, steam has a beta client out right now and it probably updated for you. People are reporting some minor errors with it. I don't know exactly what it did, but you might try going to the steampowered forums and looking there.
