Thank you for the post Legend. We've made it 10 years so far, ups and downs. With a community as large and successful as ours, there are going to be issues and matters to deal with at times, but the way in which we respond to these issues is what makes us stronger. No matter what happens, it is important for us to continue to help each other, and work together as we have since day one. I feel very positive about the counter strike division moving forward, and look forward to continuing to help in any way that I can.

I don't understand this statement.

Look at our server rankings, most of them are in the 4000's minus TTT.

Does this mean that everyone is out of touch with the eGO's CS:GO community?

If we weren't out of touch, would we have servers in the same ranks like TTT?

It doesn't take some stupid tag to be a Leader, and it doesn't matter who gets appointed. Results matter. The people that make these results matter. Who cares if they were here 10 years ago or if they were here for two months? Dedication is what matters.

Anyone can wear a tag, not everyone can be a Leader.

What the **** are you talking about? lol.

I was demoted from Community Manager for my actions, which I agreed with after having a meeting with Mike.

I left after realizing I couldn't be a Divisional Leader. I felt like a piece of shit. I put in a two weeks thread, and terminated my request early on my own behalf.

No one removed me, aside from Community Manager, I removed myself from Leadership.

Truth is, if I ever became active again in eGO, it wouldn't be in the CS division. With Jail dead, I don't play any other servers and any time I try to play TTT, it's just people screaming at me.

I think that our servers being in the 4000's suggest that we are out of touch with the general CS:GO community rather than EGO's. Whenever a server launches there has always been a lot of support for it but eventually that support dies when it does not attract new members. Naturally players will prefer a single server (most preferring TTT atm), and if a new server does not attract new users who adopt that as their new favorite server, the population will eventually drop to near 0. This is due to all those people who prefer TTT going back to play their favorite server.

I agree that it doesn't take a tag to be a leader, I don't care if someone has only been here for a week, that doesn't push them to the side when I think of potential leadership. I was mostly trying to convey that Legend shouldn't appoint people who are here just for the glory. He should be looking for people who actually care about the community here and haven't just come back since the event on Sunday at an attempt to become leadership.

Results matter, but so does respect. If someone from another division gets promoted to CS leadership and they never even touched CS, I'm not gonna fill servers for him/her.

If you promote a guy who nobody likes, this divisions going to die fast. If you promote someone who is respected in CS and is seen on the servers, then the division will be fine.

Vise Versa On the flipside if a great leadership is removed then that can alienate people and cause less people to care
