then, everything changed when the fire natio- cs leadership stepped down...
hell no
who's afraid of war?
if opinions matter this much, that's great for discussion.
shutting down threads because you're scared of responses.
SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT THING TO DO
good one "ric"
I wasn't sure if I felt like I should respond in this, but why the hell not.
Let's address some stuff here we didn't step down to form another community so I'm going to clear the air there. Secondly, the inner workings of the CS Division is complicated and as others have stated people are upset. Rightfully so, as they've been left to hang, not by us but by the community themselves. While we left to do our own things ( whether it be to relieve stress, family obligations, or anything else ) we did not except to cause this mess. We expected to see you through the new year, unfortunately that did not happen. As those at a higher level chose not to let us ride it out, I respect that. It's their community they can do whatever they want. Does that mean events and contests going on got canceled? Yes and for that I'm sorry. It wasn't our intention. The CS community is confused because they're watching someone who A. Has never really interacted with them on a personal level, pretty much take over the community B. Are getting a whole new leadership who they're obviously scared of because everybody is afraid of the unknown. And some members feel like those who deserve the position will sadly be over looked. As once again, nobody knows them like we do. I've heard this countless times. For those of you coming out of the wood work to gain a position you haven't earned- shame on you. For those of you who've decided to cause more issues then needed, why? There are faults on both sides, but the CS division has a long hard road ahead. I just hope everybody makes the right choices here.
Sincerely, population. Deuces

10/10 post doggo
I'm on my phone and unfortunately lack the skills and time to properly structure a post at this time.
If Shakespeare were alive still, he'd make a play out of this thread.

This truly embodies who we are as a division.
I love you all.
This truly embodies who we are as a division.
I love you all.
who tf are they gonna bring in then? use your head for a minute, there is NOBODY else other than legend and he is the best choice atm on such short notice since he has multiple years of experience with CS:S. you all decided to leave at the exact same moment and this has never happened before, ever. of course normally if the council member leaves, if the DL(s) are competent enough they will be moved up to council but obviously there's no one left. since theres literally no leadership left you should know as previous leadership that you cant just promote an eGO to council straight away. its just too much access to be given. so who else is going to come in? unless one of the former council want to come back and the board lets them, there is no other choice. you're acting like theres a pool of available leadership and they made a poor choice. obviously i dont know the situation that made you all decide to go at once, but you guys didnt exactly leave them with much of an option.
like i said before, as long as the new leadership want to help and want the division to succeed why are you guys going to not respect them? just cause you don't know them? get to know them then, its not that hard.
