Official Community Management Statement

Yes that worked extraordinarily well. Lets keep doing this in the future.

As I said, there's no reason not to have seen this coming once the decision was made. To think you're not at fault after you forced councils hand is just ignorant thinking. If me and 8 other Os were like "hey we're all quitting, but in 2 weeks so you can find some new admins. Just trust us that we won't pull a redeeyez and start banning the whole server or give everyone 2 million credits for no reason." I would not expect to keep my rank.

So us trying to lighten up the mood by posting pictures gets removed? :/
Lol trying to derail this into a Spiderman thread isn't an attempt at lightening the mood. Believe me, I've spider manned a thread before.

Posting random images does nothing for the thread other than derailing from the initial point. Rather than trolling lets act like adults.

You want to post meme's start an off topic thread... where it belongs!

RedDragonKnight RedDragonKnight while you have some interesting points about derailing the thread with memes, we aren't here to drag people through the mud. Keep it civil and don't be a jerk.

Do you want us to trust you or not? This is how the division acts and if you are going to just delete all of the stuff we post then the entire division will just be against you, none of us believe that we can trust you, or that you even want us to trust you.

Why you always lyin?

this thread has me dying rofl.

Dunno why ur doubting legend. You weren't around when he was in the CS:S leadership, and in fact was the solo DL for most of that time period. Legend and I bumped heads a few times over the years but if anyone in this entire community, that is currently active, that should be taking over this division should be legend. He doesn't take shit from people, I've learned that the hard way.

I think the CS division has been on a downhill ride for the past few years now. It's a sad day that the only times most people would fill servers is when there was an event or a leadership member was present. I feel like too many people suck up for leadership instead of having fun and enjoying your time here. I can say this from experience as a young kid in this community thinking I had the slightest chance on getting leadership. I think once you guys have a solid set of members who genuinely care about the well being of this division and not their status in the ranks will we start to rise again. Legend at the helm is a good start.

I don't agree with the entire leadership team stepping down all at once. Such a petty thing to do. God damn, at least have people in mind to replace you and train them up. I don't care how shitty your experience was that's just a ****ed up thing to do especially for the remaining members in this division. What ever problem you guys had in leadership however, I hope gets resolved with the next set of leadership. EDIT: I've received more information and have slightly changed my opinion on this matter

You guys act like people from different divisions haven't switched to help out other divisions in leadership before. Cwhit, wize, OP:X leaders helping out TF2, etc.

Trust the process...

We wanted to help make a smooth transition and help with picking new people, that didn't happen. I respect your opinion on the matter, but unfortunately things don't always go as planned.

As population says, nothing will ever go as planned. This is a perfect example of Murphy's law "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong" at any given point in time, especially when we aren't expecting it. I applaud everything that the CS leadership has accomplished up to this point. Everyone is wasting energy sulking when there's no point. Look towards a better future, because as I see it, It's going to be hard to replace all of the previous leadership when everyone is losing it and acting ridiculous and yes I honestly have no idea what happened and Its none of my business. What matters is the division and making sure that it moves forward.

Commenting without knowing full circumstances is for sure a bad idea. Agreed Larry.

The previous leaders by no means had intentions of doing wrong and notified us of their intentions. Again, this is not the thread to drag people's names through the mud. Let's be supportive and positive. That's what is going to make a transition to a new chapter in Counter Strike easier.
