Cheap tablet for use while flying?

Hey All,

I need some suggestions on cheap (under $300 if possible) tablets that I can use while I fly. I be will on a plane almost every weekend in 2017 and want to help pass the time besides reading books or sleeping. One of the main uses will be streaming movies (either from onboard source or my PLEX media server and preloading them onto it) and I would prefer an android OS if possible to run apps.

Galaxy Tablet S2. I have a Samsung Tab 4, which is Barnes & Noble's Nook that they're using.
 
Galaxy tab s2 or tab A. My brother recently bought a tab s2 10.1" on Amazon for around $200 bucks and it he loves it so far. Uses it for work, leisure, HD movies & games, all that jazz. He even got a leather case with a super thin keyboard on the inside cover so when you unfold it it's basically a laptop. Theres also the tab A which I believe is a little bit newer but didn't appear to be much better spec's wise.
 
I heard the Amazon Fire is dirt cheap ($50) and is a pretty good tablet for light gaming, reading, and watching videos. Don't expect top-notch specs from it though.
