Bring back the Highschool server (CSS)

What will it take to have highschool brought back? I really enjoyed that map, and since it's a shame that since yours isn't up that it means it doesn't exist anymore.
I know Source isn't very popular anymore, and if anyone plays it's only ever on dust2, Italy if it's primetime, but how much would it cost to bring it back?

If it's not an option, would you at least be able to give it to me so I could play bots on it and cry?
 
Does that version come with apples? I'd be interested in a highschool_apple_v1
 
I am completely unbiased in my agreement with this person.

If you mean that TTT / weird version that has added areas. No I dont have that cause its not really a port as he rebuilt the map from scratch.

Right Click > Save As

Then open it with WinRAR or 7Z or Windows (I think) and extract the BSP to your CSGO > CSGO > Maps folder

drop the file in your cstrike folder under downloads/maps
you can then launch it from console via this command: map de_highschool_v1a
not that playing offline with bots is fun :|
 
the thing is..we've brought it back several times..it gets played for a week or two and then it dies right away.

highschool was a map i loved, for only playing Jail..but i don't know if Legend Legend is gonna bring it back :S
 
It is tough to add more servers when we have struggling servers. We need to focus on what we have right now and build off of it.
 
step 1. download map
step 2. load in offline with bots
step 3. rename bots to old members of eGO
step 4. ????
step 5. profit
 
Highschool is on the TTT and LMS servers. Its not the same by any means, but at least we still have it somewhere!
 
Was a sad day when highschool server went down. I do miss it and all the good times had on there.
 
I still miss it a lot... It was a great map and decently balanced in comparison to Italy or Office.

But hell... I still miss Dust from the days of me being an e.

We should just get a HS / Office / Dust rotation server :thumbup1:
