Tech Help No display signal to my monitors

When I awoke this morning, I tried getting on the computer only to find that I'm not getting signals to my monitor anymore. Logged into my computer through TeamViewer only to find that there is in fact "no video card detected". I checked the GPU, and its fans are still spinning. Err, does anyone know whats up with that?

Can you try to test it with another monitor and/or cables?
Try to use the process of elimination for display issues.
If another screen works with the same cable then it would be your screen.
If replacing the cable fixes it then it was the cable.
If neither works then it might be graphics card or drivers. Try to go into safe mode and see if anything shows up.
Do you get anything when you first boot or just nothing at all?

Nothing at all. It acts as if theres no monitor even plugged in. I unplugged my GPU and tried using onboard graphics but that didn't work either. So it seems there might actually be something wrong with my motherboard or CPU.

Are you able to see the BIOS screen at any point in time, with either onboard or dedicated?

If you can't see the BIOS screen when you first load up I would say you might need to replace the motherboard.
Is your power supply fan turning on when you turn on the machine? That might be another problem possibly if it is not the motherboard. Might want to buy a motherboard that you want to keep but can return in case if it is not that.

I pressed the CMOS switch and now onboard graphics seem to be working. The graphics card was the problem, after all
