game install?

[OODA Loop]

i am trying to install BF2142 on my pc, but when ever i try it doesnt work

i insert the cd, thing pops up, vista asks for admin rights, says its preparing to install

but then nothing eles happens, the screen pops up then goes away

is there and software conflicts or anything?

(and no, a spy isn't sapping my coputer, i already hit it with my wrench)

I don't use Vista, but it may be your anti-virus software interfering. Try disabling your anti-virus software and installing it.
