Gravelpit gets a bad rep. Too many punks, etc. But it is the best map in that it balances out the classes perfectly. All nine classes are on equal turf in gravelpit. Yet i rarely see but one or two admins on. Why? Convoy has many, dustbowl has many, warpath doesnt even need to be explained. But non-EGO run free in gravelpit. So this is a thread to see who is really a gravelpitter, or is it just me? The truth must be revealed.

Who here frequents gravelpit the most?
 
I used to go there a LOT. I played that map more than anyone. I guess I just got tired of playing with mabey 2-3 eGO members all day and playing with 30 other pubs most of the time. Dunno what it was that made me not play there as much. Gravelpit is probably my favorite map. I try to go there at least once a day for mabey 15 mins or so.
 
We're considering replacing it, but it is indeed a fun map most of the time. Plenty of admins keep the punks away.
 
Gravel Pit is my favorite map for "me" time. The reason I'm not on it so often, though, is I always get those little notices in the corner of my screen: "2fort needs admin!" "Convoy needs more players!"

So when I play, most of my time is spent filling those requests. When the server has empty spaces and I'm done filling servers for the day? Gravel Pit's my place to be. On Gravel Pit, I have even less tolerance for griefers and trouble makers, especially since it's where I go to "relax."
 
It's always been one of my favorites. It just seems to be the right size, not too big not too small. And the games move pretty quick, too.
 
I am much like Ephyu, i always go to the other servers to help fill them, because Gravelpit usually is full or fills very quickly. Which is good, but bad. However, when all the servers are basically full i'll head off to Gravelpit.
 
I like Gravelpit so much. I't my favourite Valve map! I haven't played there lately, however this may change soon. :)

Gravelpit is my favourite map and I spend most of my time there. I guess I'm a sucker for Attack and Defend :)
 
I loooove me some gravelpit. Aside from warpath (when I'm having a good day), it's the only map I can play for hours on end without getting bored. But if it's replaced with a map that will do better on the servers, I can live with that. I'm not going to complain, because isn't that one reason why we're all here, is to help the servers of our clan?
 
Gravelpit is my all time favorite map. I've never gotten tired of it so far, and I was playing on the eGO server for a month before I decided to join up. I thought it was amazing that in all the time I've been on it, I only saw it without an admin once.
 
Gravelpit, In my opinion, is one of the BEST designed maps I have seen. It caters to all classes, and is short. If I gotta go somewhere soon, I'll pop on Gravel for a round or two, then I'll leave. It is by far my favorite map.

i go on there quite reguarly if i have the chance....i see Abu A LOT on that server...that map is ok but i dont think it is btter than 2Fort...but that is just my opinion
I mainly like small maps so i can stab ppl quicker and run away :)
 
Gravel Pit is nice, but i prefer the CP maps like Well and Badlands. and Dont even get me started on Hydro(<3)

I used to be really into Gravel and Well. so i might stop by Gravel from time to time.
 
Gravelpit is a great map and I'm on the Gravelpit servers more than the others. I just wish there'd be a BLU defend, RED attack map. I love BLU and defense but I can never have both.
