Fraps or Camstudio. Cam works for desktop applications. Fraps is better for games. Oh and Camstudio is free

For games (other than tf2) i use the full version of fraps. For screen recording, i use ZD Soft screen recorder. Look it up, im pretty sure its free Works very well

I'd say Fraps is one of the worst programs I've ever come across.

For screen recording in games, gotta go GameCam - it's fantabulous! But for desktop recording, I'm not sure, sorry

Fraps is epic win if you know how to tweak it to work for you. I've recorded so much stuff with fraps its not even funny.

I just tried out the Source Recorder that fuse re-linked. I got some very nice quality 720p HD footage from it, and it takes up very little space! I might have to slow down the playback with Vegas or something, because it seems to play at 110%-120% speed for some reason. Other than that, I am really happy with it. Just start the movie and play the demo and go afk for awhile and let it record. Takes awhile, but it is worth it! Now I can just go in and edit any part of the file I want. Should have a sniping compilation done by next week. Thanks for posting that!

Ya no problem thatguy. I have also been planning to make a tf2 snipering video in warpath and upload onto youtube. Ive made lots of game videos but none for tf2 yet. Ive kind of been procrastinating so ya
