So i've recently got back into Arma 3 and was wondering if anyone else here plays Invasion & Annex Tactical Simulation (IATS)?
For those that are unaware of IATS; players are placed in a real time situation where the AI (ZEUS) takes over key points around Altis and it the players job to take back those objectives.
There are main objectives, side-objectives and sub objectives, consisting of:
Capture and Defend
Secure the Hostages
Secure landmark/facility
Secure vehicle
Secure materials
Destroy Target/Landmark
The AI are very advanced and smart and have various roles and troops at their disposal:
Infantry
Vehicles (both light and heavy)
Gunships
Jets
UAV
and more...
The server I play on (which i will not name unless requested through steam/PM), has a tight schedule and procedure, consisting of HQ, command, Squad leads and of course a high level of communication, making the whole experience a fantastic and enjoyable one. every scenario is different and there are many, many ways to play and move and take objectives.
The players are always helpful and willing to teach noobs and are very welcoming.
Would love to get a team together and experience this with some of you guys!
