My windows computer that i have put it away in cupboard due need new CPU, new memory and video card also need new montior (my beautiful ASUS montior has died on me last year it has been going for nearly 4 years) Im doing my homework
and looking at the price (in Australia little expensive though) will take a time to get it so what u think

Ok here what my computer is

Video Card: Gigabyte ATI HD7770 1GB PCI-E
Hard Drive: Seagate 3TB HDD
SDD: 120GB Samsung Pro 850 (it was very expensive when it first came out cost me AUD $240)
Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D Black with window
PSU: Corsair GS 700
Optical Drive: ASUS DVD/CD rom
Monitor: ASUS VS248H (24" LED LCD) it has died on me last year way before xmas :(

OP: not sure if i still continue windows 7 but friend told me there
is problem with windows 10

*thinking about to get new PSU: Corsair AX860i ATX power* will get it later when i can

PC looks good, but to save on costs you should transfer over your old hard drive setup. I spent a ton of money on my 1.5TB SSD setup for my laptop. From there you can upgrade your GPU to an RX 480 and still pocket the rest. I'm not sure how much that all costs where you're at though.
 
Ouch Australian pricing is damn expensive.

You could drop the 8370 for an 8350 which will save you a few dollars and drop one of the SSD. Unless you really need almost a terabyte in space for games and impotent files... You could just add a reliable old mechanical storage if you need the space.

The last thing I would really change would be to to at least look at the 8gig 470. More and more with new games they really are pushing the limit of the Vram now and 4gig cards have been shown to struggle with minimum frame rates (mini frame rates show when the game chugs and is most notable to people when playing games over just the average frame rate) compared to their 8gig counterparts.

Besides that not much else to look at. Unless you are willing to wait to check out what AMD has to offer in a few months when they finally launch their Zen CPU line. But then you would be also buying a new motherboard and DDR4 ram (even tho are you are buying new ram in your upcoming build plans). But pricing wise no idea how that will effect Aus pricing. Computer parts are just so damn expensive over there :/

Recently i just heard about AMD motherboard new socket 4 but not sure when it will come out but hopefully later this year or next year who knows, Yeah australia is expensive though
 
I took my windows PC out of cupboard, not yet upgrade but i really miss some game (on mac cant but only CSGO, DODS, TF2 etc)
 
So, since i work in the tech industry let me elaborate a little on this rumored/semi/really confirmed AM4 Platform from AMD.

Everyone in my store is agreeing that AM4, formally known as Ryzen or just Zen should be launching close the end of Feb./Early March as it's launch was announced for Q1.

Vega however will not be for a while which is the AMD GPU that, if the benchmarks of what we've seen are true, could be the first card to do true 4K ar 60+ FPS. The RX 480 was marketed as a "VR for all card" the Oprah winfrey of VR (You get VR, and you get VR etc..) HOWEVER it kicks some major ass in game. Mine is pumping out 1440p above 60 FPS in everything and is always acceptable frames. I cannot say enough good things about the 480, just please god dont get the Gigabyte G1 Gaming 480. That thing is the thermal throttle king. The best ones are going to be the Sapphire Nitro, or the XFX GTR 480.

Another option you could look into is a used fury (non X) as they go for about the same as a new 480 and are really, really, really good. 4Gb of HBM and amazing performance.

Finally i just got upgrade and spend $529 for 3 item today, im very happy at the moment but need more to save $$$ to get SSD which i wanted it, as i went to my computer shop and surprise so many people
buying new computer stuff that the reason why video card is almost ran out of stock and the
memory rams, saw few people just brought Razen AMD O_O never seen that busy today and realise
they got their tax pay back and spend all new computer :)

I've tested some game tonight omg sharp clear and smooth to run finally :) and impressived not much
noise at all bit quiet but can hear little bit from the fan that it
 
Sounds good on your upgrades to date.

I am looking to upgrade my on board mSATA 256GB SSD. Everything I have read is the current speeds of the software, there is (at this point in time) no games that take advantage of faster than the 550MB/s transfer speed of SATAIII. So, a on board M2 SSD and the external 2.5 SSD SATA III or the PCI express that is 5000MB/s speed, currently do not make a difference in game speed for any of the current SSD types you can buy. If does make a difference if you are doing stuff like video editing, etc.

I have also read that it is best to buy a bigger the SSD drive. The issue is SSD has a limited life of writes. 1M to 2M writes depending on quality of the SSD. So if you load your game, reading does not shorten the life of the SSD. The idea is if you buy a smaller SSD, it has greater times the same locations are written, and there is less locations to use as the locations go bad. So, a bigger SSD will allow you longer life of the SSD before it become un-useful.

My xmas upgrade will be a 1TB SSD, 2.5 external SATAIII for future portability if my current mb dies.
